Rose Painting


As many of you know I've been taking piano lessons.  I started in September and I love it!  For payment my piano teacher and I traded for a painting.  So I painted this for her living room.
I spent a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time on it.  And I liked it so much it was hard to give to her.

I think it looks good on my fireplace mantel.  Oh well, now I have a giant blank space to fill.  Any ideas?  I'm kinda thinking a huge picture of my kids, printed in black and white and put on a canvas.  But I don't know... getting the perfect picture of my kids together would be really hard.

    That's a really great painting and one I would love to have on my mantle too. I can imagine it's hard to give that up! Nice work.
