Watch What I'm Wearing

In this picture I'm 34 1/2 weeks pregnant.  I am getting to the really uncomfortable stage.  My back hurts all the time and I think the baby gave me a bruise right inside of my ribs because this one spot is super sensitive and hurts whenever the baby moves or kicks me there.  I am ready to be done being pregnant but I just have to keep reminding my self that I don't actually want to have the baby this early. Part of my kind of wants a big baby.  I'm talking like 9lbs.  I know it sounds ridiculous I just think it would be cool.  So for that to happen this baby is going to have to be born close to the due date.  My doctor informed me that I don't really have as much control as I think I do.  We will see, I pretty much have the calendar marked already for the day I think the baby will be born.

Watch What I'm Wearing

This shirt was another amazing Good Will find.  $1.29 with the original tags on and in my size!  Can't beat that.  In my head I was calling this the black and tan outfit (in my head because who gives names to their outfits out loud?) but that reminded me of my sisters dogs.

I'm 33 1/2 weeks pregnant in these pictures and yes, i am falling over in the next one.  I guess my balance is officially off.

Watch What I'm Wearing

I think I need to buy a new slip.  The only one I have my mom bought for me when I was a kid.  It even has the lace ripped off the end because I wanted it shorter.  I'm not quite sure how old I was but I would guess around 10.  It is four inches too short for me now, but I rarely need a slip so I haven't bothered to get a new one.  This last week might have been the tipping point for me though.  My dress kept sticking to my legs right below where my slip ended causing it to ride up.  Plus the windy Las Vegas weather wasn't helping.  It was a pain.

Watch What I'm Wearing

At first I didn't really like this dress.  I had it my entire last pregnancy and I am not sure I wore it once.  It just felt kind of frumpy, but now I really like it.  I think adding the belt made all the difference.  It gave the dress, and me, more shape.  It is funny how much a little accessory can change the entire look.

How to make Pom Poms

The baby is due in a couple months and I have been making hats for when he or she comes.  I still don't know the gender but I figure I will use the extra's for photography props or maybe just give them away.  They are pretty easy to make and I enjoy it.  This tutorial explains how to make and add pom poms to your hat.  For the hat I used the loom and it makes a very basic simple baby hat.  I like the added pom poms.

Materials Needed:
Yarn
cardboard
scissors

 1) Cut two circles out of cardboard slightly bigger than you want your pom poms to be. Then cut out the middles making a donut shape.  I used a cereal box.
 2) Put the circles together and wrap the yarn through the middle and continue wrapping to cover the entire circle.  I wanted really full pom poms so I went around two times.

3) Pull the circles slightly apart and cut the yarn around the outside edge.
 4) Tie a knew piece of yarn through the middle.  Make sure you knot it and pull it tight.

5) Pull or cut the cardboard off.

 6) Your pom pom is done use the extra ends to tie it to the hat.

Watch What I'm Wearing

I was coughing up a storm last week and stayed home from church.  So this pic is actually two weeks old when I was 29 1/2 weeks pregnant.  I really like the dress, it was a lucky $4 clearance target find.  It is probably the most form fitting thing I have as far as maternity dresses go and a couple people asked if it is maternity.  It is and I like it.  I might even try to take it apart and shrink it down once I am not pregnant anymore.  We will see.  This week I didn't accessorize except for one peal necklace that you can't really see.  I think I will have to add a belt or something next time I wear it.  The dress was just so bright and bold I wanted to keep it simple and even wore my neutral shoes.  I wasn't sure at first if it would clash with my hair, but I think it looks fine.

Watch What I'm Wearing

Do you find that you tend to buy the same types of clothing?  See I have a black maternity dress that is almost the same as this one.  But I went out and bought this dress because I like the fit better.  I don't think Bob could tell the difference but to me they weren't the same at all.  This is what I wore to my brother's wedding.  Except I changed to my black boots and I wish I got a picture because I liked it that way better.  The tights stand out a little too much in this for me.  What do you think?

Watch What I'm Wearing

I'm 24 1/2 weeks pregnant in this picture and staring to feel pretty huge.  I honestly don't remember getting much bigger than this.  Ok, I am sure I got much bigger with the last three pregnancies but I feel like I am 9 months along and ready to go.  Too bad I am only a little over half way.  I was complaining to the doctor about different aches and pains that I didn't think I had much of before.  And he told me that it happens as you get older.  Older!?! I was surprised, I didn't realize I fit into the getting older category.  I wanted to tell him that I am only 25.  But I am sure he already has that information.  Sigh.  And the name search is not coming along very well.  We have about 30 ideas, none of which we feel strongly about.  Hopefully we will be able to narrow it down to just a couple boy and girl ideas before the birth.

I personally like this outfit with the blazer.  It was a fun way to stay warm and look nice.  A great alternative to a black cardigan.

Watch What I'm Wearing

I liked this outfit because it was so comfy.  And I got to look up how to tie belts on pinterest.  I think it is fun to tie the skinny belts in different ways.  Speaking of tying I tried to get Bob to tie his tie in an elgredge knot.  Have you seen those?  I think they look cool.  He didn't end up having time to figure it out but I bet he will do it next time.  Oh, and I'm 22 1/2 weeks pregnant and growing.

Watch What I'm Wearing

This outfit is a perfect example of how you don't have to spend very much on clothes.  I know everyone has different tastes, but I really like how it looks and it cost a grand total of $17.50!  That includes the shoes and the necklace and everything is new.  Nothing thrifted or second hand.  Amazing I know.  The secret to being so cheap....... clearance!

Ok, so I am 21 1/2 weeks pregnant here and hiding the belly is officially over.  It is sticking out and will be for the next few months so I am trying to get used to it and accept it.  That doesn't mean I am ready for maternity clothes though.

Watch What I'm Wearing

Last Sunday, in this outfit, was the first time someone noticed I am pregnant.  Well, I guess people might have noticed before, but this was the first time someone said anything to me.  It seems like I am done hiding the baby bump.  I still think this dress hides it pretty well depending on which way the wind blows.  I am 20 1/2 weeks pregnant in this picture and so happy to be over half way done!  I feel like me stomach is really sticking out and it is almost time for maternity clothes :(.  I don't like very many of my maternity items, nor do I want to buy more.

Dress: Old Navy;  Shirt: Ross;  Necklace and tights: f21;  Boots: Sears

Ignore the bad posture in this next picture.  It is the only front view I had, and I want you to be able to see the necklace.
