Happy Easter Everyone! I hope you are getting a chance to celebrate the Resurrection of our Savior and to have fun with family and Easter Eggs.
Here is my very non-Easter church outfit. Actually I usually put up the picture from the week before. Since last week was General Conference I didn't go to church, and this picture is one I found from about a month ago. We were having lots of snow that wasn't sticking and I thought this was a nice warm winter look.
Shirt, Khols clearance; Belt, Forever 21; Skirt, Old Navy; Socks, Japan; Boots, Ross
There is something about black and white that looks so professional. I don't think you can go wrong with wearing black and white.
The most clicked on Link from last week was...
Favorite Layovers By Modern Modest Beauty. Black and white stripes are pretty popular right now. I need to get some.

I had an extra hard time picking which posts to feature this week. I loved so many of the outfits but I think I will just post my favorite two.
Stairway to Heaven by Gray Skies. Isn't this a gorgeous background? And the skirt is really cool.

A Splash of Cobalt and Pink, by My Darling Days. I love the colored tights and the pop of pink. This really feels like something I would wear, if I had it.
Now for the Party
Link up your best modest outfits so we can have a fashion link party. Sometimes it can be hard to dress modest and look nice so post what you are wearing and I will post my favorites next week along with the most clicked on link.
Link party rules
1) Link to a specific blog post not the entire blog, or send me an email with the picture attached (watchoutforthewoestmans@gmail.com).
2) Lets keep it modest. That really is the whole point.
3) If you like the party grab a button on the left and post it somewhere on your blog, or pin/facebook/tweet about the party to help get the word out. Don't forget to become a follower on the left.
Great Party, thanks for hosting!!
ReplyDeleteGreat Photos! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGlad to know someone else has worse weather than we do in rainy Seattle (that is if you consider snow at Easter bad... some may love it!). Either way, this outfit is great- I love the belt with the sweater, it gives the whole look a focal point.
ReplyDeleteLove your boots. Our little ones have the same name - my daughter just turned 2.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of white sweaters, but my kids won't cooperate with the clean factor. Thanks for the linky!
ReplyDeleteLove that fabulous b&w look! Thanks for joining the Monday Mingle fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you for inviting me, Doranda! Of course I'm joining. ^_^

yay, thanks so much for the feature dear!!
ReplyDeleteLove the winter outfit! I need to do more black & white both in summer and winter!
ReplyDeleteGotta love classic B&W!
ReplyDeleteI'm stopping by from the transatlantic blonde linky party and I'm thrilled to see that you host one too!
ReplyDeleteYour non-Easter Easter outfit looks so cozy and pretty. It's kind of the best when you can stay comfy while looking awesome.
