Ferry Landing and Night View

This morning after Bob got back from surfing we went over to the ferry landing.  There are a few small shops and places to eat.  The great part about it is that it is directly across the bay from down town San Diego! After we were done shopping we sat on the beach and ate.  We didn't end up buying anything except for a half dozen delicious cupcakes.  I think I am going to bust one out right now.  The kids fed the birds and I got to take some of Tucker's birthday pictures (can you believe he is almost 5?).  It was a perfect relaxed morning!

Below are some pictures I took from our balcony.  I want to redo them because night pictures are so hard without a tripod.  maybe tonight I will have time.

The first picture is of the famous hotel. The pictures start as if you are looking left and pan to the right.

We really have an amazingly large and beautiful view!  This last picture is all the way to the right.  Because the balcony actually sticks out from the building it is more than a 180 degree view.  I am really going to miss it.  Reading at night on the balcony watching the lights and all the boats come in and out is one of my favorite things to do.
