Ice Scream Social

Yesterday the kids and I walked to Tucker's school to check out his classroom and meet his teacher.  I took the opportunity to figure out how long it is going to take us to walk to school everyday.  It took us 15 minutes to get everyone's shoes on and into the stroller, that was after everyone was dressed and fed.   Then about 10 minutes to walk to school, if we take our time.
Here the kids are waiting outside the school.  We all had ice cream before going to his classroom.
Tucker found his desk and we put all his school supplies away.  It was kind of a struggle to maneuver the double stroller around the desks. And slightly embarrassing when people had to move the desks to help me get out.
Of course I was the only one there with two extra helpers who had to sit in the desks too.  But that is ok.  On wednesday Bob and I get to stay with Tucker the whole mini day and we are not bringing the extra helpers.
Tucker is now even more excited if that is possible.  Penelope even is talking about how she can go to school when she is five.  She is funny because after she says it she stretches her hands way above her head and says "Then I will be this big?"
