Penelope's 14th Birthday

Penelope is fourteen years old!!!  On her birthday my mom and sister came over, we had a family dinner.  She didn't tell anyone at school it was her birthday so no one really knew.  She wanted it that way.  

Penelope is currently doing track for her school and her favorite class is pottery.  She is pretty quiet at school but she has a couple friends.  She sits together with Scarlett at lunch time.  She takes her schoolwork seriously and gets frustrated when she doesn't know how to complete an assignment.  She gets pretty decent grades but worries she is behind.  She doesn't like to ask for help and would prefer to watch what everyone else is doing and copy them or just not do it at all.  

Penelope is pretty low maintenance.  She likes to wear the same outfit or two over and over again.  She always has her hair down and straight.  She likes her crocks but usually needs to wear her tennis shoes for track.

It was really hard to find presents for her.  She didn't really want anything except for legos.   I also got her a cross body bag and a couple small things.  

Penelope loves to read and reads every night before bed.  She also writes in her journal almost everyday. I would describe her as determined, analytical, honest, and kind.

Penelope likes her room clean and so their is contention with Scarlett over that but overall she is pretty good with her siblings.
