Magic Bars


Magic bars are one of my favorite treats and they are so easy to make.  I barely ever make them because bob doesn't like coconut.  That is ok, the kids and I didn't have any problems eating the entire 9 by 13 pan this time. They were good.  Although a little different then how my mom makes them.  I will need to get her recipe and to a side by side comparison to figure out which ones I like better.  Go here for the recipe I used.

    I LOVE MAGIC BARS, but I never make them because I can't stop eating them. If they are ever served anywhere, that's what I go for. Yours looked delicious.

    We call them 7 story cookies (hence 7 ingredients) and these are my Dad's favorite also. Every Thanksgiving and Christmas he makes a couple pans. I on the other hand don't care too much for them, they are rich.
