Mud Volcanoes

Over by Salvation mountain were these mud volcanoes.  They were like little mud hills that smelled bad and kept spitting out mud.  Not worth a long drive for sure, but if you are in the area it is worth checking out.
 It worked out well because Tucker learned a lot about volcanoes this year while homeschooling.  Here you can see him working up the nerve to touch one.

 This one is mid explosion.
I have no idea what they are, but it was a fun little road trip stop in Southern California.
