Japanese Baseball Game

Watching a Japanese baseball game was different then it usually is in the states.  The game had the same rules but the atmosphere was pretty different.
When we first walked in I instantly noticed how quiet it was.  When someone is up to bat no one talks.  One time I got glared at for talking.  My friend kept telling her five-year-olds to be quiet.  It was so strange.  They were also very serious about COVID and us sitting every other seat.  It was silly really because even household members couldn't sit next to each other.  They were strict too.  A worker kept walking around asking people to move.  I saw an older couple sitting next to each other and she asked one of them to move.  The row in front of us was empty and a person was sitting there.  The workers asked him to move back to his assigned seat even though the entire row was vacant.

Another big difference I saw was that when I ball was hit into the sands the employees came and got it and took it.  I even saw a girl get hit on the back and her child was holding the ball when the employee came over and took the ball from the little kid.
The Baystars major league team is the closest one to where we live, but those tickets sold out pretty quickly.  We decided to go to the Baystars farm team instead.
A cool thing was that each player had their own theme song and chant.  When they are up to bat the audience all sings their song.  I heard it is a bigger deal at the major leagues, so we are going to try to go next year.
