The whole area was amazing! Aside from the people everywhere it really looked like we were inside the game. I was impressed with the atmosphere.
In order to participate in many of the activities you have to purchase $30 bracelets. The bracelets make it so you can go around hitting the blocks and collecting coins on the app. It was pretty cool. I generally would not be happy about paying an additional 30 bucks per person, but we borrowed them from a friend before we came. I think it would have been a lot less fun without them.
The kids loved running around collecting coins. There were also several mini games they got to play with them.
There wasn't a ton of rides in the area, but we were happy to go for a ride on Yoshii.
I love mario cart so this bowsers castle was a highlight for me.
We did see the rest of the park as well. It was much more crowded then when we went last time, but we definitely had time for Hogsmead and Hogwarts.
