No Sew Baby Shoes! DIY Tutorial

Ok, so they may not technically be 'shoes' but they sure are cute!  And they are perfect for babies who don't walk yet, or even ones who won't tolerate real shoes.  I love them because Scarlett always kicks her shoes and socks off and we are always missing one.  I also let my kids run around the backyard with no shoes if they want to and these are just adorable.  The best thing about them, you probably already have everything you need to make them.  Just a little bit of material (or an old t-shirt) a hot glue gun, and a little bit of felt.

 Materials Needed:
6 strips of fabric about 1"x4"
(longer or shorter depending on how wide your child's foot is)
4 1"x2" ovals of felt
20 1"x 1" squares of material

 1) Take three strips and glue them onto one felt oval.  Just glue one end to the top and then wrap it underneath and glue the other end also to the top of the felt.  This will make the straps.  Put two of them closer to each other.  I bunched my ends when glueing.
 2) Glue another piece of felt on top of the straps.
 3) Take one square and put a dot of hot glue in the center.  Then grab it from the underneath squeeze so it bunches.  Repeat with all ten squares.      Then glue them to the top piece of felt starting in the center and working your way out.

4) Repeat all steps for the second "shoe."
Here is the pin where I got the idea.
These are so easy to make!  If you make them send me a picture and I will post it.

Indeed, baby shoes are adorable! My mom used to make cloth baby shoes before for my nephews. And they are all lovely. She still kept some of it in her cabinet as a collection.
