Calista's 3 Months

Ok, so I'm a little late on this but our life has been kind of crazy getting ready to move to Japan and all.

Calista is three months old!  She likes, drooling, sucking her thumb, stretching, cooing, milk, and smiling.  She doesn't like shots, tummy time, and sleeping longer then three hours at a time.

I love it when she sucks her thumb.  Not only is it ridiculously adorable but I don't have to worry about finding pacifiers all the time.

She has been drooling so much the front of her shirt seems to be permanently wet.  Between the drooling and the few sleepless nights I'm worried she is getting teeth already.  None have popped up though, and hopefully won't for a few more months.

I wasn't really making her do tummy time because she hates it so much.  But at her 3 month appointment the doctor told me that I really should do it.

24.5 in. tall 82%

Head 16 in. 68%

The doctor also said she has a heart murmur but she will probably grow out of it and we shouldn't worry about it.

Leon's First Laughs

Leon started laughing a little over the past week and I wanted to get a video of it.


He also smiles all the time.  So I had to get a video of that too. Most of the smiles are in the beginning of this video.

Leon's 3 Month Photographs

This is a little late, but Leon is three months old!  He is such a happy boy.  It seems like his favorite thing in the world is for someone to look at him and talk to him.  He will give you the biggest smile if you just talk to him.  I remember Tucker smiling a lot but my girls were a little harder to get smiles from.  Hopefully this will be a sign that he will be a happy boy throughout his life.

Unfortunately getting him to smile for the camera is another matter.  I can get him to smile so big for me but the second I put the camera up to my eye he stops.

Leon can roll over from front to back and has been for a while now.  It is still only by accident though.  He also sleeps through the night, which I love.  He goes to bed around 8 and aside from the last week when he has been getting up at 4 he will sleep until 6 or 7.  It is sooo nice.

Leon's hair has been growing away but the back has been breaking so he has a ton on the front and sides but little in the back.  We like to joke that he has a reverse mullet.  Party in front and business in back.

I love Leon and am so happy he is part of our family!

Annie

Three month old Annie came over for pictures the other day.  She was sweet and has grown a ton in such a short amount of time.

In this next picture she held her head up nicely for me without even crying about being on her tummy.  Such a good baby.

Annie was really loving the basket. We tried all kinds of pillows and positions trying to prop her up.  And most of them she wasn't too happy after a couple minutes.  But I think she could have stayed in this basket all day.

I love it when kids come over and I get to take pictures.  If you want me to take some for you don't hesitate to ask.  I love it!
