Elf on the Shelf
Our elf this year started out so funny and crafty. I think he got tired... I only ended up taking a few pictures. Here are some of his best moments this year.

Elf on the Shelf
We had fun with Blitz this year even though there were plenty of nights when Bob and I did not feel up to it. Below you can see he is in our advent chain.
Hanging out on the candle holder. This is one of my favorites!
CPR on one of his friends.
Building a fort. The kids loved this one.
Well witching or water dowsing. Bob and I had a debate over this is real or not. I won't tell you who believes what but lets just say we do not agree.
And for the last day our elf decided to play the drums.
See you next year Blitz!

Blitz is Back
Our elf Blitz came back on the first and has been busy everyday since!
In this next one he wrote notes to santa from each of the kids. None of the notes had anything on them the kids actually wanted.
I love the rock climbing up the fireplace.
Here he is coloring in the Frozen coloring book.
And hot air ballooning.
Next he made some friends,
and played some games.

Elf's Last Placements
Don't forget to enter the $25 giveaway! There aren't very many entries so you have a good shot!
I have quite a bit of elf on the shelf pictures to catch up on. Enjoy!
Blitz eating pizza. The kids thought he called and ordered pizza to the house in the middle of the night.
Here he is taking a picture of his friends.
Our elf seems to have a problem with getting into the food.
These oreos were just the right size.
Did you know your elf could do a hand stand? If you already added the wire all you need to do is tie his hands together and tada!
This next one might be my favorite. A friend and I switched elfs. The kids loved it!
Notice how short his count down to christmas chain is? It was supposed to be longer but I kept forgetting about this idea until it was almost too late.
On the last night we decided to leave Blitz with the nativity and a not explaining why he won't be back.

Blitz at Grandma's House
I didnt realize until uploading these pictures how behind I was on sharing what Blitz has been up to. Here are 10 more elf on the shelf ideas.
Blitz dyed our milk green!
On another day he made pancakes for everyone. This was especially cute because we set this up Sunday morning. That is our usual pancake day. Then Bob and I went back to bed so when the kids ran down they saw the pancakes all ready and so they knew Blitz made them.
I thought for sure our kids wouldn't find this next one. Surprisingly Scarlett was the first one to spot him.
After seeing the marshmallow Tucker asked me why he was eating a gross marshmallow. The didn't quite get that he burned it.
I love mint m&ms so when the kids found Blitz Penelope ran over and asked me in a very concerned voice if it was ok for Blitz to eat my m&ms.
We headed out of town and luckily Blitz hid in the car that day. It was a perfect way for me not to forget to pack him.
Then the next morning while we were at grandmas house he managed to find the way and showed up on the doorstep in a package.
And of course Tucker loves Spiderman so we had to work that in.

I really liked the sack race, I notice half way through the day that the penguin was back standing up. I don't think the kids understood that he fell down during the race. Scarlett was a little upset that she couldn't play with Tinckerbell.
Penelope has been asking about the splits a lot lately. She really wants to be able to do them. So I thought the elf doing gymnastics would be perfect. And of course Tucker loves Spiderman so we had to work that in.

Blitz the Elf on the Shelf
Blitz has been busy this year. Instead of posting a picture a day I decided to save a few up to post all at once. Checkout these Elf on the Shelf Ideas.
We wanted the first day to be simple.
This one was especially funny because right before bed Blitz fell down and his chopstick fell so it looked like he was getting stabbed by the samuri. Bob hurried and tried to put him back up but these elves are really hard to get to stand and he couldn't get it. Meanwhile Penelope burst into tears and we are not sure if it is because Bob touched him (he looses his magic) or because he was being stabbed.
Blitz dyed our mild green. Tucker insisted it tasted gross, although I'm pretty sure Blitz only used a couple drops of food coloring and it wasn't tastable.
