Tokyo Temple

The Tokyo temple closed about a a month after we moved to Japan.  It has been completed for a while but because of Covid it hasn't opened yet.  I've kind of given up hope that we will get to attend.  One cool thing is that during the remodel the church was able to buy the lot next door.  With that they built a big annex building with parking underneath!  We had our stake conference there and took the opportunity to walk around the temple.

It was pouring and the kids weren't happy about the picture.

One day we will live next to a temple and by that time we probably won't have young kids and it won't matter to us if it takes all day to attend.  Currently the closest temple is a flight away, so we don't get to go very often at all.
