Primary Program

We had our primary program today and it went so well.  I was amazed at how quietly the children sat and how loudly they sang when it was time to sing.  There was a huge difference between the practice yesterday and the actual thing today.  I can't wait for next year so I can watch Tucker get up in front of everyone.

After the program but still during church I was surprised to see that it was snowing outside.  It looks like it stopped now and it wasn't quiet cold enough to stick but I have high hopes for tonight.  We are so excited for it to snow!  We got  a bunch of snow two years ago and Bob and I weren't really prepared.  We didn't have a snow shovel or a sled and by the time we got the the store they were all gone.  This year we went out and bought all of those things a few weeks ago just to make sure we would be ready.  Tucker has been asking if he can throw snowballs in people's face.  When I explained to him that we can only throw at other peoples bodies and not their faces he asked if he could throw it in his own face.  I told him sure and that seemed to cheer him up.

It seemed like we were kinda busy this weekend i think it is because we had a ward activity Friday night and then the primary program practice on Saturday.  On Friday I failed to take any pictures but we had a good time.  It was the "clash of the pie tins" and they had pizza to eat and pies for dessert.  They also had kids activities and you got to throw a pie at someone if you donated food.  it was fun.  Lemon meringue is my favorite pie but nobody brought one.  I have tried and failed to make my own a couple of times.  bob doesn't really like them.  so if anyone ever wants to make something nice for me...

On Saturday I got to take some family pictures of a friend and man was it freezing outside.  i think we were only out there for 20 minutes max because everyone was so cold.  We didn't venture away from their backyard or their porch because it was too cold everyone just wanted to get back inside.

I can't wait for Thanksgiving.  I have so many things to be thankful for.
