Paint Choices

I knew I wanted to repaint my kitchen cabinents white before we even started taking anything apart but I didn't realize there were going to be so many options.  i wanted something slightly off-white since what I had before was white white so I thought I would just get the off white color.  Much to my surprise I saw tons of whites while looking at the paint swatches.  I had about 10 to pick from and I could barely tell the difference between most of them.  I think I am going to go with Cotton White but i stared at the little pieces of paper for at least a half an hour and then just picked one.  I almost picked Sunlight White but just went with the Cotton one.  It is so hard to decide colors when you can't see what it is going to look like all together.  For the wall color I am going with a tan brown sort of color. I hope it all looks good together.

Bob just got the microwave set up above the stove.  It really frees up a lot of counter space.  It is neat how he had to put an outlet up there to plug it in.  I love that he is so handy because there is no way I would be able to figure out how to do any of this.

As far as yesterday's post goes, i am disappointed that more people didn't make a guess.  I am also disappointed that everyone got it right.   Starting at the Left it is Penelope, Tucker, then Scarlett.  Bob did point out to me that everyone can just scroll down and get a big picture of Scarlett's face.  I am going to hope you didn't just do that.

We have off white cabinets and tan walls and we like it. It leaves the option open to add a fun accent color... ours is red. Good luck with the project we did our kitchen a few years ago when Danny had the whole week off and we busted it out then. It was a rough week though!

I didn't scroll down to see pictures. I also hate picking out colors to paint. Good luck!

We had to use Home Depot's color matching program to decide which off-whites to pick. We have three different off-whites (main living area, girls' room, playroom) in the house (or will once we finally get baseboards back up and all of the trim painted).
