Oreo Ice Cream Bars

WARNING:  these are delicious, if you are trying to eat healthy do not make these. Turn off the computer now because if you don't you might become enticed by the yummy mint ice cream and oreo combo.

Seriously, these are pretty good.  The first time I had these was with my sister-in-law Maria and I have made them several times since.  I don't have a recipe so I am not positive that I am making them the same but they are so good it doesn't even matter.  They only take three ingredients!
Crush up a box of Oreos.  I used the 32 oz extra large off brand and it was way to much.  Make sure you only use about 16 oz of oreos.

Melt 1 stick of butter and mix it into the crushed oreos.

Press all but 1/2 cup crushed oreos into the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan.

Spread out a semi-melted half gallon of vanilla (I did mint for St. Patrick's Day) ice cream on top.

Sprinkle the rest of the oreos on top and freeze.

Thats it.  I could probably eat half the pan in one sitting if Bob wasn't there to restrain me.  No he actually doesn't restrain me it is more the fact that I know that if I eat half the pan Bob will eat the other half and then there will be none left for me to eat the next day.

Just thinking about these makes me want to go make some more!
