Easter Fun

We went to my parents house to celebrate Easter.  I wish I had more pictures of everything we did, but since I spend most of my time now with a baby in hand it is hard to also carry a camera around.  Friday I got my hair done and it was so beautiful outside we went to the park.  I really love the park by my parents house, it has a nice playground and a small lake with a .8 mile path around it.  The only downside is that it is crowded all the time.

On Saturday we decorated eggs and cookies.  We also went to a local churches Easter egg hunt.  And man it was huge!  They claimed to have 20,000 eggs (but it isn't like I counted) they also provided pancake breakfast for everyone who was there early (not us) and 5 bounce houses/slides! Because we now have 4 kids and they separated by age bob and I had to split up to help the kids with their egg hunt.  I went with the pre-school group and they were so cute.  It was the slowest hunt ever!  Scarlett, and some of the others, had a hard time putting each egg down to get the next one. The kids got way more candy there than we got for them.  I think next year we should just skip the hunt at home all together and just go there.
That evening we did our own hunt at Grandma's house.  It was beautiful outside!  I think it was 70, wich is really amazing for the end of March (or April, or May) in our area.
Bob said the sun spot on this next picture makes Scarlett look like an angel.
Here you can see Bob transferring eggs to a bigger bag.

We went home Saturday night and that gave us plenty of time on Sunday to relax with the kids and focus more on Christ and the resurrection.  It was once again beautiful outside and we went on a walk.  It was kind of funny because I just got done telling Tucker that he can't ride his bike because it is the Sabbath when two missionaries rode up to our house on their bikes.  He definitely had some questions about that!  On our walk Tucker asked if he could bring a garbage bag and pick up garbage.  I thought it was a great idea.  It was amazing and really sad how quickly his bag was full.

Happy Easter!
