Weekend Fun

My parents and sister came over this weekend to watch Tucker's game.  It is always fun when they come over.   I think our family took up about half of the sideline but no one complained. Plus it we cleaned the house for visitors and so I got to enjoy a clean house for about half the day until it got all messy again.

Talitha brought hot chocolate for everyone.  Penelope and Scarlett especially loved it.

Notice how Scarlett isn't wearing a coat.  It was freezing outside but for some reason my girls refuse to wear coats during most soccer games and practices.  I'm one of those moms who just makes them bring the coat and lets them choose if they want to wear it or not.  I figure that if they get cold enough they will wear their coat.  And if they get sick then that will be the natural consequence for not wearing a coat.  So far Penelope usually always takes her coat off and Scarlett copies her.

This game was extra exciting because Tucker made his first goal of the season!  Great job Tucker!

Talitha also made these adorable owl cupcakes.  Aren't they cute?  I'm pretty sure she just used an oreo and candy corn.
