Lake Fun

This year the Woestman family reunion was on a lake in Michigan.  The weather wasn't great, but that didn't stop us from going out on the boat.  Our kids tried out tubing for their first time and I think they liked it.  Lets just say they were scared to go out and cried but once they got started they loved it, but then when they fell off the hated it.  That cycle repeated several times through out the week. Here Tucker is heading out for the very first time.  He was pretty excited.  He didn't cry about it util after he saw that you could fall off.

He was even brave enough to try no hands.

The girls were scared but they did great.

Bob had to be on the back to not only calm them down but to weight it down.  They were going really slow and he had to lean back to make sure the nose didn't get under.

The boys had fun throwing the frisbee into the air and then running off the dock and catching it.  It was very entertaining.

When bob took the kids out this particular time he practically had to force Tucker.  We promised them they wouldn't get wet and it would be really fun.  Penelope didn't even have her swimsuit on.  Well it was fun until they hit a bump and all fell in.  Penelope and Scarlett were not happy.  Tucker, who was the most adamant about not going was just fine.

Even though I think tubing is way more fun I had to go waterskiing.  I'm worried that if I don't do it then next time I won't be able to do it again.  I need a refresher every couple of years.

Bob was getting crazy.

Penelope and Scarlett spent most of their time on this little bench off the dock.  They loved just standing there where they could be in the water but still holding on at the same time.

We had a lot of fun on the lake.  Can't wait to post more about our trip tomorrow.
