7 Lucky Gods Pilgramage
The Japanese people can be very superstitious and also believe in luck. It is believed that if you go on a pilgrimage to visit the shrine of these seven lucky gods during the beginning of the new year, then you will have luck all year. We met with some friends in Tokyo to give it a try.
We manage to make it to each shrine and we even collected little figurines as a keepsake. You also have the option of getting a stamp at each shrine.
It was cold!
Some of the statues were big and others were small.
It was pretty fun to get out and try something new. Now we can say that we went on an official Japanese pilgrimage.
