Our official general conference weekend is a week late because we are a day ahead and no one wants to go to church in the middle of the night for the live broadcast. It can be hard to wait a week, so we typically watch it a little at a time once it airs and finish it off at church for the Sunday morning session.
We were dealing with sick kids and didn't make it to church for any of the sessions. Good thing we can watch it form our out house.
Of course we had to have our waffles and ice cream. Even Scarlett who felt terrible, wanted to make one.
I really enjoy spending time at home with the family watching conference. Sometimes it is hard. The kids fight and are loud and I want to have the spirit in our home. But when things are going good, everything can seem just perfect, even if it is only for a little bit.
