I was so excited to see the famous Golden Pavilion in Kyoto. Last time I was in the area it was completely covered in scaffolding because they were redoing the exterior. It was beautiful.
I felt like I was looking at a painting.
We got up early one morning to go to the bamboo forest before it was too crowded.
After that we went to see/feed the monkeys.
Fushimi Inari shrine, also known as the 1000 Torii Gates is a must do.
