8 Hells of Beppu

We visited the 8 Hells of Beppu.  Which were just 8 natural hot springs that were surrounded by heavily manicured grounds making them look not very natural at all.

Actually we only visited a couple.  You have to pay to see each one and they kids weren't interested to see more of the same.  I checked online which was the best and we went to those.

The town is also known for steamed food that is cooked from the hot springs.  We had eggs and vegetables.  They were pretty good.

We got to dip our feet in a foot bath area.  Again it was so hot.  I'm not sure the temperature but the natural hot springs here in Beppu were definitely hotter than the usual hottub.
