My friend Carrie let me take pictures of her newborn Davis. Thanks Carrie. he was born just on Saturday so he isn't even a week old. The good thing about photographing newborns is that they are sleepy and generally you can just position them however you want. I was lucky enough to catch Davis part of the time awake.
On this last picture I got to use my photoshop skills to take out the umbilical cord.
What is it about newborns that makes them so adorable? Maybe it is the fact that they are just so tiny and no matter how many kids you have you always forget how small they once were. Or maybe it is because their skin is so soft. Or maybe it is the new baby smell. I actually think it is the fact that they are so sweet and pure and you know that they just came from heaven.
