Church Yesterday and Family Pics

Yesterday sacrament meeting was a little rough.  Honestly it is always tough to keep the kids quiet.  Bob and I get stressed because it is frustrating and embarrassing when the kids are loud.  The best part was when i was in the quiet mothers lounge feeding Scarlett.  I was seriously tempted to just stay in there for the rest of sacrament meeting.  But I felt bad leaving bob alone with the other two.  Good thing I did come back because when I walked in i spotted Penelope coloring in a hymn book.  Sorry for that.  And sorry to whomever gets the book with the blue crayon all over the inside front cover.

Then I felt bad for Tucker during primary.  It wasn't any one person's fault but Tucker was left without a class.  His teacher didn't show up and neither did any of his classmates.  For some reason he didn't want to go to any other class so he just stuck with me.  I think he realized that sitting with my class through sharing time again wasn't really as fun as it sounded so he did end up joining an older class for the last 20 min.  He was happy when it was over.  I just think it would be more fun for him if he had a big class with lots of friends for him to play with.  I was the only one in my class a few times growing up and it was never fun.
We tried to do family pictures before church.  it is difficult to get the kids to look at the camera when there is no person standing behind it.
I told Tucker to make silly faces and this is what he came up with.  I like how Penelope is staring at him probably wondering what he is doing and how she can copy it.  Like Penelope's hair?  She screamed for the entire 10 minutes it took me to do it.  then after she kept screaming and ran away from me.
Penelope got the hang of it in this pic.
People comment every once in a while that my kids hair doesn't look as red as it used too.  But I am pretty sure it is just as red but in different lights it doesn't look as bright.  Outside it usually looks much brighter than indoors.   In the pics Tuckers hair is just as bright as the other two which confirms the he is not growing out of it, at least not yet.

I always feel bad for Tucker when he is alone too. Poor guy. Luckily Penelope wont have that same problem as her class is going to have a million kids in it. That should be a fun sunbeam class!

You just need to sit over on the side with us and all of the other young kids. Since the noise constantly moves up and down the pews, we don't feel too guilty when it's our kids making noise for a little bit.

haha I have to agree with Denise. You need to find a pew where other little children are so you don't feel as embarrassed.

I love reading your posts and seeing that I am "normal." I always get stressed in sacrament! When you have 3 kids and the oldest is about to turn 4, it is inevitable. There are many Sundays when I think, this is where we are supposed to be, even if we don't get anything out of it, this is where we are supposed to be! And Kyle and I always high five eachother if we have a sacrament that niether of us had to leave in the middle of, that made it a successful Sunday! haha.... btw, Conner has that same outfit Tucker is wearing!
