Conference Weekend

General Conference weekend is always one of my favorite, but stressful, weekends!  I think most of the stress comes from staying inside all day and trying to keep kids quiet during conference.  I think one of my favorite talks was about marriage by Elder L. Whitney Clayton.  But so many of them were really good that is just one that I especially enjoyed and got to hear!  Also did you notice the women who prayed during conference?  I didn't notice the first one.  I didn't even think twice about it.  But after looking on the internet I learned that it was the first prayer given by a women during general conference.

Bob's mom is in town to help out for the week!  Of course the kids are making the most of it and have been playing games with her almost non stop since she arrived.
Scarlett now likes to pick out her own clothes and she really likes this skirt.  What you can't see are the two pairs of underwear she has on.  One right on top of her diaper and one on the outside of her pj's.
Leon did not sleep very much at all Saturday night.  I think his nose was stuffy so every time we laid him down he woke up and got fussy. Bob and I were very tired on Sunday.
Between sessions we had our traditional waffles and ice cream.  This time I wanted to try something different so we made chocolate waffles!  It was really easy and they turned out to taste good too.  I might have a hard time going back to regular waffles.  To make them I used a chocolate cake mix and put the ingredients together like normal.  Then instead of a cake pan I poured one waffle at a time.  Vanilla ice cream went perfectly with it.

I am kind of glad spring break is over.  Both Tucker and I were ready for him to go back to school.

Glad the kids have a good grandma to play games with and you can enjoy a backup while she is here.
