Viking Village

One local thing we having done yet is visit Sluys' bakery.  My primary class was talking about it on Sunday so I thought we'd better check it out.  Scarlett got the famous Viking donut.  I thought we would share it, but I was wrong.  She ate the entire thing pretty fast.  So I went and bought a cinnamon krispy for myself.  It looked similar to an elephant ear but flatter and crunchier.  A krispy is a cinnamon roll flattened out.  It was good.

Down town Poulsbo is decked out viking style.  I think it is because the vikings first settled the land but I'm not sure that is just a guess.  I liked they old buildings and all the murals on the walls.  We also got a yummy dipped chocolate bar at Boehms Chocolates.  It was good and reminded me of the costco one.

Bob saw this door as we were walking around so we got a quick picture.
I love the old telephone booth.
After strolling around and getting a geochace we went to the Marine Science Center.  It was small but the kids liked looking at all the fish.  They even hand one pond that we were welcomed to touch everything in it.
It was another fun day exploring our own area!

Don't forget to go here to win a free back pack.
