Seattle Museum of Flight

For Veterans day we went to the Museum of Flight in Seattle.  We have never been before and my sister, who is a member, took us.  The kids loved running around and seeing all the planes.  I feel like I could spend another entire day there without the kids just reading about all the planes.  It was really interesting but with four kids we couldn't really go that slow.  I didn't realize that it is right across the street from Boing.  My dad works for Boing and has my entire life.
There were lots of planes that the kids got to play on and sit in.

Here is the whole crew.

This next picture only shows a small portion of all the planes they had.  There were a couple that were on the movie "planes."  Tucker made sure to point that out to me.  I haven't seen the movie but there is a car with wings that is on the movie and in the museum and a plane that can fold up its wing.

The museum is several buildings and here the kids are running across the sky walk over the street.
One of my favorite planes was Air Force One.  Not the currently used one, obviously.  It was neat to see what past presidents rode in.
After the museum we went to Mongolian Grill and then to Home Goods.  It was a long but fun day.  I love when we get to spend time together doing something fun as a family.  I like how the Family Proclamation says  "Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities."  We talked about it for family home evening last night and I really want to focus on that this year.
