Glow Sticks

Now that its been getting dark early and even when it is light it is yucky outside the kids and I have been feeling a little cooped up in the house.  This happens to me every winter.  During the summer I'm one of those moms who forces her kids to play outside for at least part of the day.  But now its not really worth it because it takes longer  to get everyone's coats and shoes on than they actually play outside.  We have a few random glow sticks floating around the house.  And the other day the kids opened them up and it occupied them for a while.  I should buy them more often.  They especially loved taking pictures.
To take fun glow stick pictures just turn off all the lights get out a tripod and slow down your shutter speed.  For these our settings are: ISO 400  f/2.8 Shutter 2 seconds.

I think these are kind of funny because you can see each child's glow path.   Tucker is on the left, Penelope is on the right, Scarlett is in the middle, and Leon is sitting in the middle.
