CupNoodles Museum

We finally made it to the CupNoodles Museum and it was amazing!  Definitly one of my favorite tourist things to do here in Japan.
First off the building was huge and just pretty!  I love the open entry area.
The museum was pretty interesting.  On the walls they had all their different products and what year they were produced.
There were tons!
This other side had them organized by which country they sell to.
Then we watched a video all about how the cupnoodle was first invented.  It had a good message all about how anyone can come up with the next great idea that can change the world.  We got English headphones because the video was of course in Japanese.

Next we saw a replica of where the guy who invented cupnoodles lived.

They had some cool interactive displays.

Then it was our turn to make our own cupnoodles.
We bought our cups from the vending machine.
The kids really enjoyed decorating them.  Calista struggled at this point because she really wanted her own cup to destroy.
Then we got to pick our toppings.
We watched how they get packaged.
And presto!  Our very own creations.
Putting them in the cool carrying bags was harder than it should have been.

That night most of the kids ate them for dinner.  Leon ate most of his and left it in the fridge for a week claiming he wanted to finish it.  I'm sure this doesn't really need to be said, but cupnoodles do not reheat well.
