Carl's Jr

A Carl's Jr opened up here in Yokosuka and the aroma has been plaguing us now for weeks.  We walk past it every Sunday on our way to and from church, but never stop to eat.  So after a midweek primary meeting I had we stopped to get lunch.  It was delicious, but I didn't think the kids meal was worth the price.  We don't have many burger places in Japan, unless you count McDonalds, so this was a treat.

These next pictures are just a few more from our Christmas break.  Tucker had been begging to make a cake.  I'm not really sure why he wanted to so badly, but he did a pretty good job.  He did it all on his own.
While on a food note, let's talk about Pappa Murphy's.  I miss it!!!!  We really need to get one here in Japan!  We have been doing pizza Friddays with the kids and decided to try our own stuffed chicken bacon ranch.  It wasn't as good as the real thing, but we all enjoyed it.
Bob and I got these charcoal face masks to try out.  Man it was painful for me to take off.  Bob didn't have a hard time at all but to get it off my upper cheeks was tough!  Then my face was red for a couple of days.  It did make my skin feel smooth... I'm not an expert on skin care, but I will probably do it again.
