We sold our first house! It is really bitter sweet. I'm happy that it sold, the house was feeling pretty small for us and we don't even live in the same country anymore, but I have a lot of really great memories in that house.
Below is the last family picture we took just a couple months before we moved out, in 2017.
And the next picture is of our family a couple months before we moved in in 2009. A lot changed for us over the years.
I went through and pulled some pictures of us at our house. Here we are as a family of four.
A family of five.
And a family of six.
I really loved the front yard in springtime. That tree was beautiful.
Our little library was a lot of fun.
The house was so pretty when it snowed. The little library was actually just across the street, in the empty lot that we also played and ran around in from time to time.
We brought most of our babies home to that house.
And cleaned up so many kids messes.
I loved our front porch swing!
I miss my hammock and trampoline.
I remember this swing set Bob built out of free wood we got from the dumpster at a construction site.
We've celebrated Christmas,
and Easter,
and many many birthday's.
Our raspberry plants were so fun in the summer.
And the lilacs in spring smelled so good. Our kids learned how to ride bikes on the street in front of the house.
The house holds so many memories for me. Mainly about raising my children. It was the perfect home for our family, and even though I don't want to move back I already miss it.
