4 Years and a Free TV

It's been 4 years since we moved to Japan!
I can feel all the random stuff accumulated in our house so it was time to do a mini purge.  First thing to go had to be the giant teddy bears.
We often walk past this house with several Pooh Bears in the window.  So we decided to gift them with another.  We wrote "present" on a paper and taped it to our huge Pooh's head, then rang the door bell and hid.  They weren't home so we didn't find out their reaction.  We have never seen the people who live there, but when I walked by the next day our bear was gone.  Hopefully they had a nice surprise when they came home.
Penelope's bear didn't have such a fun destination.  Her's went to the garbage bin.

Our old TV was 42".  It was small by today's standards, and also pretty old.  About 13 years old, in fact.  Every time I walk into the store I oohh and awww at the giant beautiful TVs.  I definitely wanted one.  But my practical self knows it would most likely break when we move and we already have a perfectly fine working TV.

It was just perfect that we won at customer appreciation day!  They drew Bob's name out of a hat.  It was exciting!  I entered us both earlier in the day but had to work.  You had to be there to win and the first name drawn wasn't there.  Their loss, our gain.  Bob's name came out next!
It is 82 inches, and almost takes up our wall!  Now we need to spend a couple hundred on a stand, but I can't seem to find one I like.  The options are limited with this size.  It seems like the size of the TVs have outpaced the stands at this point.  Here is our old tv in front of our new tv.

Franky, got hungry and tried to eat Scarlett's fish.
I did some modeling for a friend, who is on project runway!  It is airing this week and I can't wait to watch her on tv.

Our favorite roller slides are back open!
