It is getting to be that time of year in Japan that I hate. It so so humid that I literally feel like I'm walking around an indoor poolroom all day. It is horrible. And just when you want a nice big juicy watermelon to cool off you go to the store and see that one slice is $14!
I don't care if we don't pay a mortgage, we will never have enough money to eat that watermelon. Seriously I miss how cheaply we could buy fruit and vegetables in America. Here I buy applesauce because it is cheaper than apples. We've just gotten used to eating less fresh fruit and veggies, which is a shame.I like to get outside for part of the day even though it feels unbearably hot and humid.
I think now that we left HPCON C and are HPCON B we are even allowed to go to the park as long as we social distance. It is the first time in months that a child under the age of 18 has been allowed outside unsupervised. I'm not sure who was actually following that rule but it was the rule.
Tucker has mowed the neighbors lawn a few times.
