KidZania

KidZania is this magical place that has tons of little shops and restaurants and places where people would work.  But the whole thing is geared for the kids to do the jobs. We send the kids in and they pretty much teach them to do the job.  The kids absolutely loved it.

Calista worked for a fast food restaurant and actually made a burger.
We had several kids work at the ice cream stand.  All the food places were super popular with our kids because you actually get to eat the food.
The cutest store clerk ever!
Rock climbing.
Cheerleading
Dentist
Painters
As the kids learned jobs they earned money which they could deposit onto the debit cards and then spend.
Calista was the cutest flight attendant ever and she got to serve Beatrix and I.

I forgot what job the boys were doing here.
Nintendo Lab

Leon was doing some sort of rescue here.
Pizza-La

It was so cool.  We just spent the day running around trying to fit in as many as we could.  We were there from start until our time ran up at 3pm and I think we did about half the jobs.  I didn't even get pictures of all the things the kids did.

We were exhausted by the end of the day.

They whole thing was a little pricey ($240 for our family), but I can see why.  There were so many employees helping the kids that it must cost a lot to run.  Bob and I were not allowed or invited inside any of the stores.  Most had windows so we could watch from the outside.  We took the kids out of school so we could go on English Wednesday, but I don't think it was needed.  It was mostly for the Japanese kids to practice their English.

There are a few KidZanias in the states.  If you have a chance to go I would definitely recommend it.  It was about half the price of Disneyland for our family and at least half as fun.
