Bob and I went to the Navy Ball! It think it was my first formal dance since we got married. I never thought we could go to these as civilians, but I guess we can.
We honestly had a blast. It was so much more fun than high school dances. I just love how much more confident I am as an adult. I didn't spend nearly as much time thinking about what I look like in my dress, and because of that I love it so much more.
It helped that our friends came! I think I would have been bored without them. I didn't get a ton of pictures, but there were speeches, a dinner, a toast, a magic show, taiko drumming and even sword fighting.
After all that we stayed up way to late dancing the night away. Seriously, we were among the last to leave.
