We went to a sumo tournament! It's been on my bucket list since we came to Japan. I wasn't sure if they were going to start having spectators again before we move, but thankfully they did.
It was honestly super long and boring. We watched for about three hours, but I wish we came later. You can come anytime during the day but the competitions get higher and higher up as the night goes on. So you want to be there at the end for the final championship match. Three hours was plenty. It was so much ceremony for just a couple seconds of action. I was struggling to stay awake.
Now that I've been, I can check that off and never go again. It was fun to go on a date night with just Bob, and super great that we could leave the kids at home without getting a babysitter.
