7 Months Old

Beatrix is seven months old! 

She is on the verge of both sitting and crawling but can't quite do either yet.  She is a pro at rolling over and doesn't stay on her back very long.  When on her stomach she can turn in a circle and always ends up going backwards.

She really didn't want me to take these pictures.  But I've been doing so well at getting them done right away that I didn't want to wait for her to be in a better mood.

We haven't given her any food yet, but she really likes to watch us eat and she does put everything she can get her hands on into her mouth, including her two middle fingers.

She really likes toys in general and is interested in getting things.  It's nice because now she can play a little more on her own.

I love this sweet girl!

Calista's 7 Months

Calista is now seven months old.  She likes sitting, mom, rice cereal, white noise, and toys.  She dislikes other baby food, strangers, and tipping over. 

I feel like she is starting to get a bit easier to take care of.  She now usually only wakes up twice in the middle of the night (I know that still isn't great but it is an improvement) and the best part is that she started napping in her bed!  It is so great, I feel like I can do so much during her short one hour twice a day naps.  And she is happier throughout the day!  I love that.

Her stranger anxiety has grown in the past month.  She now really doesn't like to go to people she doesn't know.  And even in our family she usually wants me although she will go to others if I'm not around.

Her hair is still super thin and because it is cold out now she wears a hat everyday. 

Calista can sit, but she does still tip over.  I need to watch her closely whenever she sits because she usually falls after a minute or two.

I love this girl and am so happy she is part of our family.

Leon is 7 months old!

Leon is 7 months old!  Because Halloween is coming up I thought it would be fun to dress him up for these pictures.  He wasn't so happy about it.  He really wanted to grab the hat and pull it down so he could see what was on his head.  Anyway, he now has his two bottom teeth and he likes to bite!  It really hurts and if you scream he will give you a nice big smile like it is some sort of game.  The only other big difference in the past month is how well he eats.  Now that he has been doing it for a month he is pretty good at it and eats way more food (mush) than he did before.

Leon is now very good at sitting.  It is so nice to be able to just put him down and not to worry that he will tip over.  He also likes to clap his hands and it is very cute.

Leon is very ticklish.  I love to tickle him and watch him wiggle around and laugh.  He is so much fun. 

Now that I'm posting these pictures I wish I took one without the mustachifier.  Oh well, he is the cutest cowboy I've ever seen.

Scarlett's 7 Months

Scarlett is now seven months old and she: 

mastered the army crawl.

has one tooth on the bottom middle.

puts everything in her mouth.

won't take a pacifier.

doesn't like to go to bed.

sleeps from 8:30 to 7ish.

almost has the hang of eating rice cereal.

loves attention.

loves her exersaucer.

sticks her tongue out all the time.

makes the airplane noise a lot.

and loves her family!

(p.s. although these pictures are adorable the little Christmas photoshoot I set up in my family room was a pain and I was so mad at Penelope for not smiling and looking at the camera by the end of it I just put them all bed.)
