Easter

We had the perfect weather for Easter this year.  Sunny, but neither hot nor cold.  Church was only one hour but we ended up staying after a bit to chat with friends anyway.  Bob was a little stressed coming up with the church program, and wanted our family to sing.  We didn't end up having time to practice anything, but sacrament meeting went well without us singing so it wasn't an issue.  By the time we went grocery shopping both the commissary and the NEX were out of all Easter candy and peeps.  Luckily we saved our plastic eggs from last year because they were out of those as well.  The kids did not seem to care that they didn't have Easter themed candy.

The kids were excited for the hunt.
We did it outside and it took a while for the kids to find all their eggs.  The older kids requested us to hid them hard and so we did.  A few were found hours after the original hunt.

I love how red this tree is looking right now.

Sadly enough I've never seen a bird on my bird feeder there.  It is only half gone because the gardeners spilled it one time.
We also had a big Easter dinner and we spent some time learning about our Savior.  I am truly grateful for Easter and what this day represents.
