Going/visiting a new ward is always a little hard. We don't know where to take the kids and then once we find out getting the kids to actually go is a whole nother battle. Everyone was nice and friendly, it is just being somewhere where everyone knows each other and I have no idea who anyone is makes me feel a little uncomfortable. The best part about it was that bob and I got to go to Sunday school together! It has been about three and a half years since we got are callings making that impossible. One thing I noticed the primary does here is that everyone has a team teacher and then you only teach primary every other week. On your off week you go to Sunday school and Relief Society. Doesn't that sound nice? I am not sure that we could ever get enough leaders to do that in our primary.
dress: old navy; $15; cardi: Target, $7; sash: came with a different dress shoes: Fred Meyer, $16?
I am going to be sad when I have to go back to taking outfit pictures in the middle of the street running back to the side every 30 seconds when another car drives by.

Now for the Party
Link up your best modest outfits so we can have a fashion link party. Sometimes it can be hard to dress modest and look nice so post what you are wearing and I will post my favorites next week along with the most clicked on link.
1) Link to a specific blog post not the entire blog, or send me an email with the picture attached (watchoutforthewoestmans@gmail.com).
2) Lets keep it modest. That really is the whole point.
3) If you like the party grab a button on the right and post it somewhere on your blog, or pin/facebook/tweet about the party to help get the word out. Don't forget to become a follower on the left.

Super cute outfit -- such cheery colors! :) And I'm so happy to be included on today's post! It's interesting to note how both looks featured denim jackets (one dark, one lighter) -- obviously, a classic staple in any wardrobe. :)
