Beach House

While in San Diego we moved out of the city and down to a beach house.  I absolutely love it!  Here is what you see when you walk in and turn right.  Its part of the kitchen and a little seating area facing the ocean.

Below is the reverse of the above picture.  It seems to be a fairly new kitchen.  On the left ou can see the front door and the hallway that leads to the bedrooms and bathroom.

Next to the wicker chairs is the doorway to our balcony.  It is so nice to be right on the ocean!
Behind the balcony is the family room.  I love how separated it is from the bedrooms.  We don't have to worry about waking up Bob anymore.
Next is the kids room.  It is pretty small and we added a pack-n-play we borrowed for leon to sleep in.  I tried to double up the kids on the beds but they kept falling off in the middle of the night.  So now the girls get to fight about whose turn it is to sleep on the floor.  Don't worry we put down a cushion for them.

Here is the bathroom.  We are used to more than one so it has been an adjustment.  The kids have been sick and throwing up so that toilet has gotten a lot of use.
I'd say the bathroom needs updating, but it works.
And the master bedroom.  It is bigger than the one we have at home.
That wall of mirrors is a good size closet, there is also a hall closet that I didn't take a picture of.  Plenty of storage in this place.
But the best part is the view!  These are all taken right from our condo.
I try to watch the sunset every night when possible.

Sometimes we even see dolphins.

So it isn't the fanciest place, but I think it suits our family much better than the last one.  I like it.

What a fun place to stay during the winter months! Sorry to hear your kids were sick-that's not fun.
