Cinderella Shoes and a New Puppy

Beatrix had a little bit of a Cinderella situation going on the other day with her "glass slippers."
The funny thing was she didn't seem to mind at all that her foot was bulging out and the clasp couldn't even reach to close.  Chubby little baby feet are the cutest.  Don't mind the artwork she did on herself.  And no need to be sad that it would wash off, there is plenty more of that all over our wallpapered walls.

Its been pretty rainy here lately so we spend most days indoors.  Things get a little crazy.  I'm still not sure what is going on in the next picture.  Maybe it is the aftermath of a fort?
But the next one I know all too well.  Calista goes into her room and pulls all her clothes out and changes at least 538 times a day.
A family we know moved into our neighborhood and we were so excited we made them rocks and put them outside their house.  Everyone is always moving away, it is rare that someone we know actually moves closer to us.
We did get the occasional chance to sneak away to the park.

Oh and Calista got a new puppy.
I seriously found them like this and she told me Beatrix is her dog.  She has the yarn tied around her waist and they were going all around the house like this.  Thank goodness it wasn't around her neck.

I cannot believe we only have about a month left of summer.  I'm trying hard to cherish this time I have.  Summer days with kids are the best!
